Porsche Body Restoration and Paint

Please find below examples of recent MCE Porsche restoration projects, completed using our in-house body and paintwork expertise. For more major structural repair we use Celette jigs and fixtures, coupled with a rotisserie for access to those hard-to-reach areas for media blasting to bare metal and applying seam-sealing and surface protection solutions. We have an on-site spray booth so we can minimise bare-metal exposure time and maintain a clean, dry shell between strip and paint application.

Finishing paint: Preparation and undercoating in 2K epoxy

Full glass-out repaints in modern base+clearcoat or traditional single-stage acrylic, all to original Porsche colour palettes.

Full bare-metal bodyshell strip and preparation.

Application of traditional lead-loading techniques for early bodyshells, in keeping with the original manufacturing methods

Single panels to full bodyshells can be accommodated in our climate controlled full-size spray booth.

Top-coating in period correct single-stage solid colour coats from Glasurit, PPG and Lesonal.

2K metallic base plus clearcoat systems also accommodated for the more modern paint finishes
