• Change oil and oil filter(s)
• Check brake fluid, washer fluid and PAS fluid (if applicable), top-up if necessary
• Check condition of lighting systems, wiper blades and washer jets
• Check underside for fluid leaks, damage or deterioration (including CV boots, suspension and steering joints)
• Check tyre wear and set pressures
• Diagnostics and error codes check (if applicable)
• Update service book
• Wash and vacuum

As interim service, plus:

• Replace air filter
• Replace pollen filters (if applicable)
• Check all brake lines, fuel lines and wheel nuts, apply corrosion protection to exposed metal areas
• Check fan belt(s) tension and condition
• Lubricate locks and hinges
• Check and adjust handbrake
• Check and adjust clutch free play (if applicable)
• Distributor cap(s) and rotor arm(s) replacement
